About

With her artistic base in Brussels and working between Belgium and South Korea, the artist explores the essence of human existence through the philosophical question: ‘Who am I?’

Since 2022, her ongoing series Bois de la Cambre has combined traditional Korean paper(Hanji) with the landscapes of her current environment, evoking a sensibility that transcends time and space.

Her personal journey—shaped by a range of social roles across family, education, society, and the state—has led her to the reflection that “the human being is fundamentally an intersection. This idea unfolds further in her current series “L’humain est une intersection”, which delves into the multilayered complexity of identity.

Her work goes beyond mere visual expression, inviting viewers to question and reflect on their own identity and existence.
